Refund policy

At Chalet Perfect, every piece is created made-to-order printed, sewn, or crafted specifically for you once your order is placed. This allows us to offer a curated, small-batch collection without mass production or waste. Because of this, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind.

This approach is supported by consumer law in:

Australia (Australian Consumer Law)

United Kingdom (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

European Union (Consumer Rights Directive –exemption for made-to-order goods)

United States (Federal & State consumer protection laws) Across all four regions, businesses are not required to accept returns for non-defective, made-to-order items.

 

If something isn’t right 

We want you to love your piece. If your order arrives and there’s an issue, we’re here to make it right. You are entitled to a refund or replacement if your item:

arrives damaged

 arrives defective

is misprinted

is not as described

is the wrong item

These rights are protected under consumer law in Australia, the UK, the EU and the US. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Our team will take care of the rest.

EU Customers —About the 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers normally have a right to cancel within 14 days. However, this does not apply to goods that are:

made to order, or manufactured specifically for the customer All Chalet Perfect print-on-demand items fall under this exemption.

US Customers —Return Rights

Under US consumer law, businesses are not required to accept returns for:

change of mind

buyer’s remorse

non-defective goods

We follow this standard while fully honouring your rights for defective or incorrect items.

 

Non-returnable items

Because our pieces are created on demand, we cannot accept returns for:

  • print-on-demand items
  • made-to-order items
  • personalised or customised items
  • sale items
  • gift cards
  • These exclusions are permitted under consumer law in Australia, the UK, the EU and the US.

Refund timing

  • Once your return is approved and processed, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times may vary slightly.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, please reach out and we’ll follow it up for you.
